You provide us with this information when challenged by an Authorised Council Officer (e.g. Environmental Enforcement Officer) if an observational offence has been committed.
We may also receive information from members of the community triggering investigations into other environmental offences such as fly tipping incidents.
If you are reporting an environmental offence, we may ask you to provide your name and contact details so we can discuss this with you.
