Employment land study update and subsequent addendums
The Wyre Employment Land Study Update to the 2012 study was undertaken in September 2015 to reflect the latest demand forecasting elements. An update addendum December 2015 was produced to undertake sensitivity testing of the demand forecast, and a commercial market review was also undertaken. The update and the update addendum should be read in conjunction with the 2012 study.
Pro-forma’s for each individual employment site that was assessed as part of the 2012 study and the update can be viewed in appendix 2.
The study and update provides an assessment of the local economic prospects for the district, and the current and future provision of employment land and commercial leisure to meet need up to 2031.
A further update addendum 2017 was prepared that year to undertake further sensitivity testing of the demand forecast in light of the latest Experian dataset.
