Cost/income for the council
There is no direct cost to the council for the partnership arrangement with WISE (Waste Investigations Support & Enforcement Ltd) due to the initiative being self-financing, and is not a way for the council to generate additional income.
The scheme is effectively cost neutral, but should any income be made it will be used to supplement alternative environmental initiatives, as the priority for the council is to introduce a culture change and address those who do not behave responsibly.
