What we can collect
Please count each item separately. For example, a bed consisting of a base, mattress and headboard is three items.
- Wooden furniture: such as wardrobes, tables, chairs, wall units, sideboards, flat-packs, bookcases, TV cabinets and desks
- Soft furnishings: such as beds, settees, futons, easy chairs, headboards and cots
- Domestic appliances: such as washers, fridges, TVs, toasters, microwaves, DVD players, vacuum cleaners and lamps
- Kitchen items: such as pots, pans and cutlery
- IT/home entertainment systems: such as TVs, computers, video recorders, Hi-Fi units, speakers and phones
- Bicycles: all types of adults and children's bicycle
- Miscellaneous: such as gardening tools, musical instruments, indoor toys and games, outdoor play equipment, mobility aids, wheelchairs and bric-a-brac
What we can't collect
- Household fixtures and fittings: baths, sinks, toilets, fitted kitchens, worktops, doors and lino
- Outdoor items: rubble, bricks, fence panels, garden rubbish and black bags
- Miscellaneous: pianos, fish tanks, rabbit hutches and commercial refrigeration
