Disposing of unused items
Wyre Council have a partnership with Bulky Matters and local re-use charity Furniture Matters. We help you dispose of unwanted household items and help local disadvantaged people and the environment at the same time.
Please note this is not a business service, a collection must take place from a Council Tax registered property.
Items can be collected from inside. If the items are outside, please keep them dry.
Please note there are no collection slots available until after the New Year for FY postcode.

Alternatively, you can call us to make an appointment, or dispose of such items at household waste recycling centres free of charge. For a list of local household waste recycling centres, and to book a slot if you are using a van or trailer, visit Lancashire County Council - Recycling Centres.
There are also local charities that may be grateful for donations of bulky household items.
