Who we are and what we do
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund was created by the Government and all areas across the UK received an allocation from the fund. The overarching aim of the funding is to build pride in place and increase life chances. In 2022 Wyre Council received £3.9 million for projects across the borough and in 2025 the programme was extended for another year resulting in a further £1.2 million being allocated.
