What are we doing with your personal data?
We will collect and process your personal information for the following purposes:

managing and processing applications for UKSPF grants, including Rural England Grants, and procured contracts. As part of the grant assessment process, applications are reviewed by the council’s financial and legal teams, as well as relevant internal managers. Final decisions on funding awards are made by a panel comprised of individuals who are specifically invited to participate. This panel may include senior council staff, Elected Members, and/or senior representatives from external organisations who have relevant expertise or a direct connection to the theme of the grant programme.

conducting necessary background checks to identify and prevent fraud

corresponding with applicants as well as ongoing correspondence with successful applicants awarded UKSPF grants

monitoring and evaluating UKSPF projects

sharing UKSPF beneficiary data (including National Insurance Numbers and Company Record Numbers) and providing project updates to the UK Government’s Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, MHCLG.
No decision will be made about you using only an electronic system, automated decision making. Humans are involved in each step of the assessment. We will update this Privacy Notice if this situation changes.
