About the licence
A premises licence or club premises certificate authorises the holder to provide one or more of the following licensable activities:
- sale by retail of alcohol
- the supply of alcohol to members or their guests
- the provision of regulated entertainment
- the provision of late night refreshment (hot food or drink between 11.00pm and 5.00am)
All applications must show how the applicant will promote the licensing objectives, which are:
- prevention of crime and disorder
- protection of children from harm
- protection of public safety
- prevention of public nuisance
