Windy Harbour to Skippool improvements
Highways England (HE) are looking at long-term improvements to the A585 between Windy Harbour and Skippool junction. A newsletter was issued to raise public awareness of the objectives of this scheme, and detail the next steps.
A six week public consultation was held in autumn 2016 on the proposals for the scheme.
HE have considered the responses to the consultation as well as undertaking traffic modelling and environmental studies. A ‘preferred route announcement’ leaflet was produced which gives details of the chosen route, alongside a map highlighting its path and what will happen next.
