What rights do I have?
Data protection laws give you rights over personal information relating to you. You have the right to:
- object to processing of personal data that is likely to cause, or is causing, damage or distress
- have inaccurate personal data rectified or blocked,
- claim compensation for damages caused by a breach of the Data Protection regulations

You also have the right to request information that we hold about you. To make a request for a copy of your personal information, please fill in our online form: Subject access request | Applicant – Wyre Council stating the information that you would like to receive or you can write to us.
