Permits
The Gambling Act introduced a range of permits for gambling which are granted by licensing authorities. Permits are designed as a light-touch approach to low level ancillary gambling.
The permits regulate gambling and the use of gaming machines in specific premises. There are limitations on the stake and jackpot amounts of machines, based on the type of premises they are located in.
Family entertainment centre gaming machine permit
Licensed premises gambling permit
Club gaming permit and club machine permit
This form must be downloaded, printed, completed and returned to the address stated on the form.
