Renewable energies study (2011)
Lancashire County Council commissioned work to translate the information in the 2010 north west renewable and low carbon energy capacity and deployment study to a local level. The aim was to provide further technical advice to each local authority, and enable greater understanding of the potential for renewable energy development.
A sustainable energy report for Lancashire County Council was produced in April 2011, and separate reports produced for each local authority including the Wyre sustainable energy report.
In July 2011 the final Lancashire County Council renewable energy report was accompanied by a planning guide for renewable energy and a summary fact sheet.
