Temporary Events Notice
If you plan to carry out a Licensable Activity on unlicensed premises, you must apply for a Temporary Events Notice (TEN).
Licensable activities
A TEN is required for activities such as:
- Selling alcohol
- Serving alcohol to members of a private club
- Providing entertainment
- Serving hot food or drink between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am
Important information
If you fail to declare that your event requires a TEN and a Use of Land Licence has already been issued, you will need to apply for a new Use of Land Licence with 6 weeks’ notice.
A reissued licence will incur an additional fee of £60.
