Use of Land application form
Wyre Council welcomes applications to host events on council-owned land. To ensure your event runs smoothly and meets all requirements, please complete the online application form.
Application Requirements
- Applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the event. Late submissions may not be processed.
Forms must be completed in full and include:
- A detailed site map
- A copy of public liability insurance covering the event date
- All licence conditions to be fully satisfied
Fees
- The standard administrative fee for a Use of Land Licence is £60.
- If additional elements are added after a licence has been issued, a further £60 fee could apply for a reissue.
- Exemptions may be granted if the event directly benefits Council services or assets (e.g. events organised by Friends of the Park groups). Exemptions are granted solely at the discretion of the Council.
Responsibilities
As the event organiser, you are responsible for obtaining all necessary licences or permits from the Council prior to your event.
