- Household rubbish that you cannot recycle

What cannot go in my grey bin?
- DIY items – paint and oil
- Hazardous waste - chemicals, garden sprays
- Bricks and rubble
- Electrical items
- Soil
These items must be taken to your nearest HWRC.
Soil, turf and compost cannot be accepted as these materials can be very heavy, making it difficult to manoeuvre bins safely and add to the bin lifts on our waste vehicles.
