Wyre Council is currently developing a five-year Supported Housing Strategy in response to the requirements of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
As part of this process, we are seeking to gather robust evidence from key partners, including registered housing providers, commissioners, Housing Options services, and the Probation Service. This questionnaire aims to collect data and insight on current provision, demand, and future need for supported accommodation within the area.
The information you provide will play a vital role in helping the Council assess need, identify gaps, plan future provision, and ensure that supported housing is high-quality, effective, and aligned with both local priorities and national expectations. Local authorities are required to publish their Supported Housing Strategy by 31 March 2027 and review it at least every five years; your contribution is essential to shaping this important work.
