Walking for health

We run a series of walks every week that are perfect for those looking to improve their fitness. They are known as health walks and are part of the Ramblers national walking for health scheme

The walks are free and there are 30 minute and hour long routes to choose from across the borough.

You don’t need to be fit, it’s a great way to meet new people if you come along on your own. If you have limited mobility you might want to try out our walks that are suitable for our trampers. Some are on relatively flat routes and are accessible for wheelchair users.
