Due to Covid-19 restrictions a temporary measure has been put into place for a personal search of the Local Land Charges register to be carried out. As the register is held on three separate systems, the following has been put into place. All systems must be checked to complete a search, it is the responsibility of the person carrying out the personal search to identify the land/property and to make a note of information held on the register. No printouts or photographs can be taken of the data provided on this website. Wyre council does not have an obligation to answer any supplementary enquiries when a person is making a personal search.
Records on our Idox system can only be administered by the Land Charges office. Please email an application for data to firstname.lastname@example.org . Please include the address and a plan of the property/land to be searched, showing clearly what the search area is to be, including garages and parking spaces. The results will be returned by email.
The remaining registers can be viewed here. You should not download or save this file, only view it from this website to ensure you have the most up to date information:
Scanned copies of the paper register have been separated by town or parish areas and are available in a directory:
As these documents were created prior to 2012 they are not in an accessible format. If you need further assistance in obtaining an accessible copy of a particular record please get in touch with us.
Please note: It is not the council's responsibility to determine the curtilage of a property/search area. From 2004 all new data has been spatially registered therefore the registration is attached to the land, not an address.
