Enjoy the rich and diverse wildlife on this 1.5km stretch of grassland on the landward side of the Rossall sea defences. Classified as a Biological Heritage Site due to the rare species of flora and fauna that grow there the grasslands are easily accessible through a network of surfaced paths and bridges.
Look out for the striking aluminium grassland beacons designed by artist Stephen Broadbent at the pedestrian access points.
