Wyre Council is delighted to announce that Spa on The Breck at Poulton Health and Fitness Centre reopened on Thursday 1 October 2026, following extensive recommissioning works.
The reopening sees the return of the centre's popular hydrothermal suite, offering visitors a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience designed to support health and wellbeing.
The luxury facilities include a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, salt steam room, aromatherapy room, foot baths, two monsoon showers and an ice fountain, creating a complete thermal relaxation experience for members and visitors alike.
Councillor Lynne Bowen, Leisure, Health and Community Engagement Portfolio Holder at Wyre Council, said:
"We're delighted that Parkwood Leisure and Creating Active Futures have brought Spa on The Breck back into operation and are welcoming customers once again. The spa is a popular facility that complements the excellent health and fitness offer available at Poulton Health and Fitness Centre.
"Whether you're looking to relax after a workout or simply want to take some time out to focus on your wellbeing, the hydrothermal suite provides the perfect environment to unwind."
Customers wishing to enjoy regular access to the spa can upgrade their membership with a Spa bolt-on for an additional £20 per month. The centre's Premium Spa Membership includes unlimited access to the spa facilities, gym, pool and fitness classes, alongside a range of exclusive health and wellbeing benefits.
For those seeking greater flexibility, pay-as-you-go spa sessions are available, giving you two hours of spa access for £20, while spa members can purchase discounted guest passes for friends and family. Sessions must be booked in advance for both members and pay as you go day visitors.
