Rural businesses and residents across Wyre are being encouraged to share their views before Wyre Council's rural consultation closes on Friday 2 October.
The consultation forms part of the council's commitment to supporting economic growth and prosperity across the borough. Feedback gathered will help shape future business support, funding opportunities and policy decisions, ensuring they better reflect the needs of rural communities.
The survey is open to rural business owners and residents and explores a range of issues including access to services, workforce challenges, connectivity, infrastructure and the financial pressures unique to rural settings. The findings will help build a clearer picture of the rural economy and ensure that businesses and communities in rural areas have a stronger voice in local decision-making.
With just a few weeks remaining, Wyre Council is encouraging anyone who has not yet completed the survey to take part. The feedback received will help refresh the rural section of the Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategy, ensuring future support and investment reflects the needs and ambitions of rural communities.
