With a natural play area, café, picnic spots and accessible paths, it’s perfect for outdoor adventures. Explore woodlands, enjoy estuary views, and take part in walking, cycling or running routes. Trampers - all-terrain mobility scooters, are available to hire making the park inclusive for wheelchair users. Wildlife lovers can spot sea lavender, curlew, shelduck and more across the beautiful saltmarshes and countryside.

Positive feedback was also received regarding the friendliness and helpfulness of staff and volunteers, as well as the overall cleanliness and appearance of the site. These elements play a vital role in supporting Wyre Council’s aim to continually improve the visitor experience and promote the park as a rated destination.

Councillor Lynne Bowen, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Health and Community Engagement at Wyre Council comments, “We’re incredibly proud to see Wyre Estuary Country Park retain its Quality Assured status. This recognition reflects the hard work of our staff and volunteers, and our ongoing commitment to making the park a welcoming and enjoyable place for everyone. It’s a fantastic asset to the borough and we’ll continue to build on this success to ensure it remains a top visitor attraction."
