Join us at Wyre Council's Big Green Get Together

A giant mechanical puppet made out of cogs, nuts and bolts.

Looking for a fun, free day out with the family? Join us on Saturday 14 June from 10:30am to 4:00pm at Wyre Estuary Country Park, Stanah for a celebration of nature, community and climate action!

Expect a vibrant day packed with live music and performances, nature-themed entertainment and interactive activities for all ages.

Enjoy a live performance from George Orange’s ‘Man on the Moon’ at 12 noon and 2.30pm, a dazzling street performance presented by Fool’s Paradise. This eccentric clown and slack-rope dancer from Chicago brings lunar magic to earth with his signature half-moon slack rope rig. Blending circus artistry, clever comedy and audience participation, George’s show crescendos in a breathtaking finale as he attempts to walk the rope across the moon.

Experience Autin Dance Theatre’s ‘Out of the Deep Blue’ show - a breathtaking outdoor spectacle featuring Eko, a towering 13-foot sea giant puppet and a courageous young girl named Violet. Through powerful dance, storytelling and puppetry, this magical performance explores our connection to the ocean and the urgent need to protect our planet—perfect for families and festival audiences alike.

Hop aboard the Fool’s Paradise Bewonderment Machine! This whimsical ride is open for guests to enjoy at select times: 11:30–12:15pm, 1:00–1:45pm, and 3:30–4:15pm. Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic in motion!

Bring along a plastic-free picnic, relax in the beautiful park surroundings and enjoy a day of eco-friendly fun. Whether you're passionate about the planet or just looking for a great day out, there's something for everyone.

No need to book—just turn up and enjoy!
