Mobile Homes Act 2013
The Mobile Homes Act 2013 (MHA 2013) has been introduced to give greater protection to the occupiers of mobile homes on residential sites (relevant protected sites).
Under the Act the site owner must consult with residents and produce a set of site rules for the site. These should be clearly displayed at the site and a copy lodged with the relevant licensing authority.
The council does not enforce these rules and has no control or influence on what they contain. We are however, required to keep and publish a register of each set of site rules lodged with the council.
