Wyre Council – Win an iPad competition

Terms and Conditions of entry

You must be a resident, or an owner of a property over the age of 18 registered with an open Council Tax account within the borough of Wyre and willing to sign up for ebilling before the closing date of 30th September 2025.

All Council Tax accounts previously registered for ebilling by and on the 30th September 2025 at 5pm will be automatically entered into the prize draw.

Only one entry per Wyre Council Tax account for each person is permitted, additional entries will not be considered and removed from the draw.

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible ebilling entries after the competition closing date and will be notified via the contract details provided during the ebilling sign-up process within 14 working days of the draw.

One standard 2025 model iPad will be awarded to the winning entrant.

In the event that the prize winner cannot claim the prize or fails to make contact within 14 days of being notified, there will be no alternative prize provided this in non-negotiable and another winner will be selected using the same process.

Any entrant, as of the 30th September 2025 who has arrears of Council Tax in respect of any financial year including 2025/26 will be disqualified. The decision as to whether a person should be disqualified shall be taken by the Revenues Manager, and their decision shall be final.

The prize winner will be required to take part in publicity regarding the competition, including a press release to be posted on the Wyre Council website and social media.

No responsibility can be accepted for ebilling registrations that are lost, delayed, incomplete or incorrectly submitted.

The council disclaims any responsibility for the maintenance, repair, loss, damage of the iPad after it has been awarded to the winner. All obligations related to the upkeep of the device rest solely with the recipient.

The competition is not open to employees of the council, their family members, or anyone professionally connected to the competition.

Entry into the competition implies an acceptance of these terms.

The council reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice or replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the council's control makes it necessary to do so.

This competition is governed by English Law any entrants wishing to take court proceedings must do so within the courts of the United Kingdom.
