If you currently receiving a Single Person Discount or a disregard for Council tax and sponsor a person or family from Ukraine, your Council tax reduction will not be affected.
The Council Tax (Discount Disregards and Exempt Dwellings) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2022 have been amended so that a person who has secured an immigration permission under Homes for Ukraine is disregarded for council tax discounts.
