The latest Empty Homes Strategy was adopted by Cabinet in October 2026 Issue details - Empty Homes Strategy 2026-2030. The strategy sets out the Council's position to deal with problematic empty homes.
Report An Empty Home
If an empty home is not secure it can:
- attract vandals and burglars
- become overgrown
- be a target for fly tipping
- fall into disrepair and become a safety risk
