This year we celebrated 20 years of the Garstang Walking Festival. The festival ran from Saturday 4 May - Sunday 12 May and included up to 40 walks, for all ages and abilities.
The event was a great success thanks to our wonderful volunteer walk leaders and parents.
The walking festival is coordinated by the Friends of Garstang Walking Festival and supported by Wyre Council. Walks take place around Garstang, rural Wyre, the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay. The festival includes a range of walks, including the three day Wyre Way Challenge, easy access short walks, family activities, evening walks, wildlife strolls, heritage rambles, tramper trials, dog friendly trails and everything in between!
