An introduction to navigating with map and compass, in the Bleasdale area. The sessions are delivered over 2 days. Participation in day 2 of “Navigation for Walkers” is dependent on completing day 1.
There will be a ‘classroom’ session in the morning, with slides and discussion, and practical navigation in the afternoon during a local, low-level farmland walk. Tea and coffee are available in the morning; participants should bring their own lunch and a drink for the afternoon walk.
This three and a half mile walk is graded easy.
