This is a fairly easy walk across fields and over stiles and along country lanes to visit the sites associated with the local salt mines. The salt mined in Preesall was exported across the world but almost nothing now remains on the ground. You wouldn’t suspect it was ever here.
This is six mile walk and graded moderated.
