The walk traces the route of Poulton’s railway system from 1840 to the present day, visiting the locations of its 3 railway stations. Booking is essential.
This walk is now fully booked.
The route gives the opportunity to explain the effect the coming of the railway had on Poulton, including its livestock Auction Mart and the expansion of the town. There will also be the opportunity to learn about the history of the Civic Centre building where the walk starts.
Join us for a two mile walk, graded 'easy'.
