As part of Love parks week we are running an open morning at memorial park for members of the public to take part in daily tasks that gardeners do, plus task for children to do.
No need to book.
The open morning will be suitable for any age with three events being run.
One will be practical plant-based activity, the other event will be litter picking. For children there will be a scavenger hunt type thing where they have to find things around the park and tick them off the list.
It will be run from the pavilion. One of the aims of this is to get more volunteers for the gardeners on site.
