Our coronation event in Garstang will still take place today. We won't let the great British weather stop us!! Bring your coats and wellies. There will be entertainment in Cherestanc Square where our walk will still begin at 2pm. The route may be a little shorter! Outdoor theatre will now be at the picnic area behind High Street Car Park instead of in the family area of Millennium Green. But don't worry, just come along and we will be there to direct you!

From 12pm to 4pm there’ll be entertainment in Cherestanc Square and the picnic area behind High Street Car Park, with a few surprises along the way too!
The family friendly Wyre Coronation Walk will then begin at 2pm from Cherestanc square. Along the interactive trail you’ll come across games, quizzes, music and more.
Don’t miss live performances of Theo and the Lost Crown at 2.30pm and 3.30pm at the picnic area behind High Street Car Park, one of the stops along the walk route.
With a fun trail to follow to complete the walk, make sure to collect your medal!
Also, from 12pm – 4pm in Cherestanc Square we’re hosting Wyre’s Big Help Out. Pop into our marquees and meet some of our volunteers and community groups from across Wyre. Find out what volunteering opportunities there are in your area. See how you can get involved and give something back to your local community.
