The event is for a new class of radio controlled model yacht, which has rapidly gained popularity throughout the world. This is the inaugural global event for for this new 'Dragon 95' class.
The event will be run to the well established rules and conditions.
The Fleetwood model yacht and powerboat club have ran many events since the Fleetwood model yacht lake was designed and built by Fleetwood Council in 1932. It was purpose built for racing model yachts and other types of model boats and is considered to be the finest purpose-built facility for this specific purpose and in Europe. It is an honour for this venue to be chosen to hold this event.
