Gritting
Gritting the highways is the responsibility of Lancashire County Council. Their fleet of gritters and snow ploughs will be working hard this winter to keep Lancashire's roads moving in the snow and ice.
Gritting updates are provided by Lancashire County Council.
We also do our best to make the car parks, pavements and public footpaths as accessible as possible. We will reassign officers to grit in priority areas as necessary.
