Where does this funding come from?
The Wyre Community Lottery raises money for good causes across our borough. For every £1 ticket, 60p supports local charities and community groups: 50p goes to the player’s chosen good cause (or to the Central Fund if selected) and an additional 10p from every ticket also goes into the Central Fund. The remaining 40p covers prizes and administration.
We will allocate an estimated £10,000 per year from the Central Fund to local projects.
Funding will be released via one bidding window each year. A second window may be released if bids are significantly below £10,000.
