Have you say on how Lancashire manages its waste in future

Residents in Wyre are being asked for their views as Lancashire’s waste partnership draws up a new 10-year strategy for how rubbish and recycling will be managed from 2026 to 2036.

The Lancashire waste partnership are updating their strategy for managing waste across Lancashire. The new draft strategy ‘A low waste Lancashire’ considers what happens to your recycling and rubbish and sets out the future direction for collection, management and disposal services.

We want you to have your say on the draft strategy, its vision, objectives and our proposed actions. The link to our survey is below and will take no more than 10 minutes for you to complete.

Completing this survey will help us to understand what matters to you. The feedback received from the public consultation will be used to develop our final waste strategy due to be published later in 2026.
