The Wyre Business Awards are back for 2026, and entries are now officially open for the borough’s biggest celebration of local business success.
Proudly organised by Wyre Council, the awards shine a spotlight on the businesses powering Wyre’s economy, from ambitious start-ups and micro enterprises to established organisations making a real difference in their communities.
These awards are about far more than individual entries; they celebrate the people who make businesses succeed. From dedicated teams and trusted suppliers to supportive collaborators and loyal customers, they recognise the collective effort that drives success across Wyre’s business community.
Independently judged and considering all aspects of business excellence, the awards also value the voice of the community. A simple mention or show of support from a customer or fellow business can make a meaningful impact, reinforcing that hard work is recognised, appreciated and truly worth celebrating.
Firmly established as a flagship event in Wyre’s business calendar, the awards continue to grow in both scale and reputation. In 2025, more than 100 entries were received, with 165 guests attending a spectacular celebration of local success.
The 2026 ceremony will take place on Tuesday 10th November at the iconic Marine Hall in Fleetwood, bringing together businesses from across the borough for a winter wonderland-themed evening of celebration. Guests will enjoy a high-quality gala dinner created by the award-winning Twelve team, alongside entertainment in a memorable setting.
Businesses have until Monday 31 August to submit their entries via the Invest in Wyre website.

The overall Wyre Business of the Year will be selected from the category winners on the night. Last year’s headline winner, Blackpool Skip Hire, was crowned both Wyre Business of the Year and Growth Business of the Year, recognising its exceptional growth, innovation and community impact.
