Residents can now take advantage of Wyre Council’s early bird offer for the 2026/27 Green Waste Collection Service, with subscriptions and renewals open for collections running from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
By signing up or resubscribing by 30 June, residents can secure the service at the discounted early bird rate of £40 per bin and £35 for each subsequent bin added. Subscriptions can be completed quickly and easily online via a myWyre account.
The service includes 22 fortnightly green waste collections per year, with only a short break over the festive period. Residents also have the option to share a bin with a neighbour, with one household signing up and paying for the service.
While residents can subscribe to the Green Waste Collection Service at any point during the year, signing up by 30 June offers the best value. From 1 July, the standard annual cost will increase to £45 per bin, with additional bins charged at £40 per year.
Wyre Council is encouraging residents to make a saving by signing up early.
Councillor Simon Bridge, Street Scene, Parks and Open Spaces Portfolio Holder at Wyre Council, said:
“We’re pleased to continue offering this valuable additional collections service for our residents. With 22 collections each year and minimal disruption over the festive period, it’s an excellent service. I would encourage residents to take advantage of the early bird offer by signing up or resubscribing by 30 June.”
To subscribe, residents must be signed in to their myWyre account.
