The Wyre Community Awards 2026 will take place on Thursday 12th November in Thornton. We need your help to find the worthy winners!
The awards will recognise the important work our voluntary, charitable and community organisations make in supporting our communities.
There are three award categories:
1. Making a Difference to Children. The organisation making the most significant impact to the lives of children in Wyre.
2. Making a Difference to Adults. The organisation making the most significant impact to the lives of adults in Wyre.
3. Making a Difference to the local Community. The organisation making the most significant impact to a local community.
Organisations can be nominated for multiple categories, however, the awards panel reserve the right to shortlist the nomination for a maximum of one category.
Nomination Criteria
• The nomination must be a not-for-profit voluntary, charitable, faith or social enterprise organisation.
Judging Criteria
- The background, circumstances and journey of the organisation.
- The voluntary effort the organisation has made and is making.
- The impact and difference that voluntary effort has made and is making to our communities in Wyre.
The opportunity to nominate will end at midnight Wednesday 23rd September 2026.
