We’ll meet just outside the historic St. Eadmer’s Church before tackling one of the toughest hikes in the area. The trail kicks off with a scenic packhorse bridge crossing, then winds through the enchanting Clough Heads Wood to the base of Hazelhurst. From here, it’s a challenging climb to the dramatic heights of Fiendsdale Head, where breathtaking views await. The journey continues along the ridge to the iconic Fair Snape Fell trig point, before a thrilling descent to Higher Fair Snape Farm. Finally, we’ll loop back through Holme House and Vicarage Farm, completing a route packed with history, rugged beauty and unforgettable panoramas.
