Pay by direct debit
The easiest way to pay your council tax is by direct debit. Once set up, the direct debit will automatically collect your council tax instalments each year as long as you don't cancel it.
You can choose to have the direct debit taken from your bank account on the 1st, 7th, 15th, 21st or last day of the month.
To pay by direct debit you need to complete an application to pay by direct debit form.
If you want to change the date your direct debit is collected on, or the bank account it is taken from, you need to to complete an amendment to a direct debit form.
