Wyre Council is inviting expressions of interest from community bowling clubs to operate one bowling green and a basic bowls pavilion at Memorial Park, Fleetwood.
This opportunity is ideal for a club looking to grow, support local residents and enhance community activity in the area.
What We’re Looking For
Interested parties should submit their proposal by 27 February 2026, including:
- A business plan setting out their proposal for the land including the proposed rent to be paid to Wyre Council.
- Summary details of their experience.
When evaluating applications, we will give particular consideration to:
- Experience in the bowling sector.
- Community initiatives including opportunities for all age groups and those living with health conditions or disabilities.
- Sustainability plans.
- Social value e.g. volunteering opportunities for locals and liaison with local schools
Lease Information
The site will be offered on a leasehold basis (term negotiable).
Any capital investment required to develop the facility will be the responsibility of the incoming tenant, who will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of the building throughout the lease.
Wyre Council will continue to maintain the bowling green.
