Climate Change Strategy

Climate change is the greatest threat to our planet.

Changes in temperature are causing extreme weather and other negative impacts, altering our quality of life.

Wyre council declared a Climate Emergency in July 2019. We are committed to urgent action and protecting our community from the threats caused by climate change.

Our draft Climate Change Strategy outlines how our climate is changing, the risk to the borough, the positive outcomes of climate action and sets out how we plan to reduce our levels of pollution within Wyre.

We want to understand what you think of our plans, what might be missing and what we should be prioritising. Please read our draft Climate Change Strategy and provide your feedback by clicking the buttons below.
