Following forecaster strong winds, we have taken the decision to close the storm boards along the Cleveleys coast.
Boards will be closed between 5 bar gate and the borough boundary with Blackpool.
We will review the situation but the boards are expected to stay in place until tomorrow (Thursday 9 December).
Members of the public are encouraged not to walk on the promenade as a safety precaution.
