Great Eccleston extension masterplan

The emerging Wyre local plan allocates land for a substantial village extension at Great Eccleston. The extension will create a mixed use development including residential and employment uses, a community hall, medical centre, new primary school, and local small convenience store. The emerging local plan requires the allocation to be brought forward through a masterplan that will be used to guide the future development of the site.

To inform the masterplan, De Pol Associates on behalf of the landowners and developer interests has produced a series of masterplan concepts and supporting material that illustrate alternative ways in which the site can be developed.

Wyre council is supporting a six-week consultation on the masterplan concepts from 11 December 2018 to 5pm 22 January 2019.

Exhibition material showing alternative masterplan concepts and supporting information, including response forms to take away - will be available at the Great Eccleston village centre during the consultation period.

As part of the consultation, officers from Wyre council and representatives from De Pol Associates will be available to answer questions on the masterplan concepts at Great Eccleston Village Centre on 11 December 2018 from 11am to 7pm, and on 10 January 2019 from 2.30pm to 7pm.

Comments should only be submitted to Wyre Council. Responses should be received by 5pm 22 January 2019 at the latest. You can submit your comments using an online form. Alternatively, you can also download a form and email or post to the address below.

Comment forms can also be posted in a comments box at the Great Eccleston village centre.

Please do not post or otherwise send comments to the village centre, the parish council or De Pol Associates.
