When and where is Wyre’s Family Festival - Wanderland?

Wyre’s Family Festival 2024 will take place on Saturday 27 July 2024 from 11:00am – 5:00pm (gates open at 10:30am) at Cottam Hall, Poulton-le-Fylde FY6 7RH.

Entry is via the entrance from the Cottam Hall car park gates only.

Where can I park?

There is no parking on the event site. Free parking is available at The Blackpool Sixth Form College. This is a 20 minute walk away from Cottam Hall Playing Fields. We are also encouraging ticket holders to use public transport, as there are regular bus routes into Poulton town centre. Poulton railway station is a 15 minute walk to the event site. We will also be running a limited shuttle bus from Wyre Council’s Civic Centre car park.

Is there disabled access?

If you have access needs, you need to contact wanderland@wyre.gov.uk. We will be happy to assist you with planning your visit and support you on the day.

Will tickets be on sale on the gate?

If tickets have not sold out, then there will be an opportunity for you to purchase tickets on the gate on the day.

Can I get a pass to get offsite when at the event?

Yes, your digital ticket will be exchanged for a non-transferable wrist band. You may leave the site and be readmitted at any time as long as you produce your wristband.

I am no longer able to attend. Can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds, but you may give your ticket to someone else. It is prohibitied to resell tickets.

Is there a programme for the day?

The stage running order and times for the day will be promoted on Wyre Council’s website and social media channels. The stage programme is repeated twice during the day. You can of course stay for the whole day, but this may help you in planning your visit to the event.

What time does the festival start and finish?

The gates open at 10:30am and the stage programme begins at 11am. The event finishes at 5pm.

Can I bring a fold up chair?

You are welcome to bring chairs (these must be taken home with you at the end of the event) but no picnic tables or canopies/parasols or tents.

Will you be accepting cashless payments at the festival?

All vendors will accept card payments and some vendors may accept cash. You can use debit/credit cards or apps on your phone, such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets or other animals are allowed on site except for registered assistance dogs and guide dogs.

Can I bring my own food/drink?

No food or drink is permitted with the exception of sealed water bottles. There will be a bar and variety of food vendors onsite that will be selling food and drink. Security checks will be taking place upon entry.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Due to licensing restrictions, you are not permitted to bring alcohol into the event. There will be a fully licensed bar available for you. It will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy so if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification.
