Reconnecting with nature can have a positive impact on our wellbeing. Taking time to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the seaside together is a well-known method of helping combat depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.
The Wildlife Trusts award winning wellbeing offer (Myplace) has now evolved in Wyre. "The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery" project provides an opportunity to help the natural world, learn new skills and connect with like-minded people.
The free coastal nature sessions in Wyre will help you get back outside in a safe and relaxed environment. Participants meet in small groups once a week at one of our COVID-secure locations to enjoy a range of activities aimed at supporting wildlife and helping you to feel happier and healthier:
- Rossall Point Observation Tower, Rossall. (Tuesday: pre-registration essential)
- Towers Wood, Thornton-Cleveleys. (Wednesday: pre-registration essential)
- Wyre Estuary Country Park, Stanah. (Friday: pre-registration essential)
Get in touch to register for the above sessions with Mike on 07927 551380 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
