New national restrictions announcedPublished Saturday, 31 October 2020
On 31 October, the Prime Minister introduced nation wide restrictions to last for 4 weeks through November.
From Thursday 5 November:
- You must stay at home, except for specific purposes which can be found on the Gov website
- Certain businesses and venues will be ordered to close. A list of businesses and venues which will need to close can be found on the Gov website.
- You must not meet socially indoors with family or friends unless they are part of your household - meaning the people you live with - or support bubble.
Wyre will remain under Tier 3 restrictions until Thursday 5 November.
The Government will seek to end these new nation wide restrictions from Wednesday 2 December at which point we will return to a tiered approach.
We will provide further updates once we know how this will impact our services.
At this stage shielding will not be reintroduced. However, vulnerable people have been advised to take extra care.
