A reminder about reopening safely for pubs, restaurants and cafesPublished Tuesday, 07 July 2020
This weekend, our officers visited a number of licensed premises checking whether they were COVID 19 secure and we plan to continue undertaking such interventions over the coming months.
Thank you to local businesses who worked so hard to reopen safely at the weekend.
It is the responsibility of the licensee to ensure that their premises are safe for both their staff and their customers.
Licensees are reminded that that where possible social distancing should remain at two meters, if this is not possible and additional measures can be implemented such as perspex screens, this distance can be reduced to one metre.
Also, please be aware that only people from two households can meet indoors, or up to six people from different households outside.
Full details of government guidance can be found here.
If you are a licensee in Wyre and need any further advice please contact us at email@example.com
Thank you to residents who went out responsibly over the weekend. It’s nice to see people out and about enjoying life in a safe way. Please keep on following government advice and together we can beat the virus.
